Licensing Basics
The University of Central Florida has contracted with Collegiate Licensing Corporation (CLC) to administer the licensing of the university's trademarks, service marks, trade names, designs, logos, seals and symbols. UCF utilizes the services of CLC to help ensure that the marks of UCF are used in a manner that is consistent with the goals of the University and that UCF is properly compensated for the use of University marks. CLC provides us with an accounting, control, enforcement, and protection mechanism.

Vendors must request an application packet from the "Downloads" section of the CLC website, www.clc.com. They have application processes specifically for local and non- local vendors.
Items for Internal Consumption/Promotion
One-time vendors may request a licensing waiver from Business Services . However, vendors that intend to have an ongoing relationship with UCF should apply for a local restricted license through CLC or a general license by visiting the CLC website at www.clc.com. (Note that waivers are granted only for unique products not produced by CLC Licensed Vendors.)
